Today, they stand tall, a few who are representing the nation, the state team, the club and our academy in various age groups, making us beam with pride. Success Stories

Divij Surapaneni

Divij joined The Sports School in 2021 and locked in his place as a reliable centre back for the U15 side. Within two years, he progressed to the U19 side before making the leap into the BFC Reserves in 2024, where he played in the KSFA Super Division and the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL). In May 2025, he was selected to play for the U20 National Football Championship, where he turned out for Karnataka and helped his side qualify for the quarterfinals. In September, he made the switch to Europe as he earned a transfer to NK Brinje Grosuplje in the Slovenian second-tier.

Jordan Mobin Paul

Having joined BFC Soccer Schools in 2018 at the age of six, Jordan has steadily progressed through the pathway and now represents the BFC Academy U14 side. A versatile forward who also contributes in defense, he has already made a mark on the national stage.
In 2024, Jordan was a standout performer at the Sub-Junior National Football Championship, helping Karnataka win the title in Bengaluru and earning the award for Best Player of the Tournament.

Sohum Utreja

He joined our partner programme at The Sports School in 2023 and played in their U17 team as a full back. After impressing at the school level, he progressed into BFC U18 Academy the following year and was called up to the BFC Reserves for that season where he featured in the KSFA Super Division and the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL). In 2025, he won the U20 SAFF Championship with India.

Vinith Venkatesh

Vinith Venkatesh, a highly skilled player from Austin Town, was scouted by our team at the age of 8. Renowned for his exceptional technical abilities and impressive heading skills, Vinith has been instrumental in scoring numerous goals for BFC. A defining moment in his career came during the U-13 I-League final round, where he helped the team reach the finals in Goa for the 2018-19 season. 

 

Vinith has consistently been a key player across the U-13, U-15, and U-17 BFC Academy teams. Last year, he was honored as ‘Player of the Year’ for the BFC B Team. We are incredibly proud to have contributed to his development and are excited to see a local talent like Vinith progress to the first team of Bengaluru FC. His journey is a powerful testament to the success of our youth development pathway.

Rheanna Jacob

Rheanna joined BFC Soccer Schools as a beginner in May 2019. Within just two months, she was selected for the U10 Elite squad, and by 2021, she advanced to the BFC Girls Academy. Her journey has been marked by significant achievements, including being named Best Player in the Sub Junior Nationals (Tier 2) in 2023, Best Defender in the Junior Nationals (Tier 2), and Best Player for the U15 BFC Girls Academy team in both 2023 and 2024. Today, Rheanna represents India at the U16 level, plays for the Karnataka Juniors state team, and is a standout in the BFC Girls team in the Karnataka Women’s League (KWL). BFC Soccer Schools is so proud to have nurtured her into the dexterous footballer she is today!

Janani Thoppur

Janani joined BFC Soccer Schools in 2020 and quickly advanced through the ranks, moving from the Soccer Schools to the Elite squad, and eventually securing a spot in the BFC Academy. Her dedication and versatility on the field have led to significant accomplishments, including winning the Khelo India and A Division tournament, as well as being a runner-up in the National Championship 2024-25. Janani plays for the BFC Academy and represented the Karnataka Junior Football Team (Tier 2) in 2023 and 2024.

Sila Adarsh 

Sila Adarsh joined BFC Soccer Schools in 2017-18 and quickly advanced through the ranks, eventually joining the boys’ elite and academy teams before moving to the girls’ academy team post-COVID. She has won numerous inter-school tournaments, including the Extra Marks Youth League at Arsenal Stadium in London (2023), and was part of the winning teams in the Khelo India Football tournament and A Division in 2023. Sila’s growth as a player has been marked by improved skills, tactical understanding, and physical strength. She currently plays for the BFC Women’s team in the Karnataka Women’s League (KWL) and the Karnataka State U-16 Junior Girls Team.

Mano & Veda 

Mano and Veda, twin players who joined our Soccer Schools at the age of 7, have consistently showcased remarkable technical skills, especially in their first touch. Known for their tenacity and fighting spirit, they bring passion to every game, often showing their deep emotional connection to the sport by shedding tears after tough matches or challenging training sessions. Their advancement to our residential program in Bellary is a testament to the success of our development pathway and serves as a source of inspiration for grassroots players. Their positive attitude, combined with their playful and spirited nature, makes them a joy to coach and watch grow.
