He is the Head Coach of our U13 Day-Boarding Academy at Bengaluru FC Soccer Schools. With an impressive playing career starting in 2002 at DYSS Sports Hostel, Govardhan played for six years, helping his team rise to the Super Division. He has represented Karnataka at multiple levels, competed internationally in futsal and transitioned into coaching in 2009 to balance his personal and professional life.

 

Govardhan’s passion for football led him to BFC, where the club’s professionalism and focus on developing local talent perfectly matched his vision. As a coach, his patience, knowledge and passion for nurturing young players have shaped countless futures. He has guided teams to victory in prestigious tournaments, including the Diego Maradona Cup and KSFA YPL. We are incredibly grateful to Govadhan Sir for all he has done for our kids so far, and we’re confident that even more talent will continue to flourish under his guidance
